I swear, they are absolutely wearable!

Smarter Socks

Yes, these are real. Smarter Socks aren't your typical black socks. These are equipped with an RFID chip that helps you ensure each pair has a match and that their color hasn't faded. These socks don't come cheap. 1 delivery of 10 pairs with a sock sorter for $189.

Smart PJs

Smart PJs, a startup from Idaho, has designed a pair of interactive pajamas for kids. The PJs have a printed-dot design that works much like a QR code. Using your smartphone, scan the dot patterns to download a bedtime story on your device's screen. A free app can even recite the tales aloud. The pajamas retail for $25 and are available for both boys and girls, from ages 1 to 8.

Nike Hyperdunk+

Athletes always want to improve themselves, and with this pair of Nike Hyperdunk+basketball players can monitor their speed, jump height and their overall game performance. There are sensors on the shoe that transmit information to your smartphone via bluetooth.

Interactive T-Shirts (I have one of these myself :-), best outfit for your night club party)

Who says wearable technology has to be complicated and expensive, sometimes, a simply wearable can also attract lot of eye balls as well. Geeky T-shirts aren’t exactly new, but put in some electronics, a few AA batteries, turn down the lights and you can actually have an equalizer dancing on your chest, reacting to the sounds around you.

At the end, in my opinion, future wearable technology products will be way more diversified and wearable than Google Glass or iWatch, they will be extremely innovative and close to your daily life, and there are lot of synergies to be realized between technology companies and traditional wearable product companies. So next time when you think about a startup, maybe this is a good option for you!
